Bringing It ON
Details have been confirmed for the inaugural MommyBlogger Spa-tastic Get-Together this weekend (August 26th), and the spa segment of the evening is now fully subscribed. If, however, you are interested in joining us for drinks that evening, let me know and we can work out details for post-spa celebrations (commencing at about 9:30pm).
Details have also been hammered out for a daytime get-together for moms and chilluns: next Thursday, August 31st, 3 - 6ish, Dufferin Grove Park (just south of Bloor on Dufferin). We'll meet at the playground shelter, which is on the north edge of the playground, which is itself in the southeast corner of the park. It's a great park for kids of all ages, and Thursdays are Farmers' Market days, so bring change for a snack or for dinner fixin's.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the play date, but I will try!
Also, Penelope and I will be at Withrow Park, Tuesday, Sept 5 at 3:00 (at the kids play area). Welcome, all!
We go almost every Thursday in the summer for the yummy organic market....hope to see many there, my hands will not be anything like they will be on Saturday at 9:30...but I will be there, bad hands and all.
We'll miss the kids get together because my little social butterfly has a birthday party for one of his friends at that time. But I think we can make the Withrow park outing with Metro Mama and Penelope.

I will be at work for the Tuesday outing, but will try to make Thursday and will most def be there saturday. (and Anne, I can't hold a manicure either! I give it 24 hours at best.)
I will try to make the play date.
I *may* try to make the after spa drinking but a) hubby will probably be at work since I want to go out and b) I have to be up at the crack of dawn the next day to go the EX with my insane family and a 25lbs 5 month old who will not stay in his stroller yaaaaaaaay!

Unbelievable. I swear there is a force larger than myself keeping me away form you all.
I got so excited when I say the propsed thursday date, then I remembered I signed Aidan up for a week of swimming lesssons that week from 5:30-6:00. Since I live in Richmond Hill, and the commuting traffic is hell- I can't make it AGAIN.
I'll keep checking back for a date that works for me. I really want to meet everyone!
Sorry everyone espeially to Her Bad Mother (as she organized this), but I will not be able to come for the manicure. I might be able to come for a drink earlier or later...but I just cannot (after a review of finances), get my hands done when they will be toast the next day...sorrysorrysorry.
